To support the development and use of Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) for absolute sustainability assessments (ASA)
Aims
To develop a common understanding of what an ASA is in the context of LCA.
To discuss existing and emerging ways of performing ASA in LCA.
To agree on definitions and terminology and create a framework for ASA in LCA.
To exchange experiences with using LCA for ASA in decision support and engage in communication with practitioners and decision-makers.
To develop and coordinate research themes and questions.
To be able to speak with a common and strong voice in scientific discussions and consensus processes in the wider fields of LCA and ASA.
